Treatment Philosophy:
I enjoy taking a holistic approach to the treatment of mental health problems. I take into account biological factors, life story and ongoing stressors in addition to their current presentation. When treating children and teens, I engage the parents and encourage collateral information from the school and outside therapist (if applicable). In addition to medication management, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Supportive Therapy among other modalities of treatment.
